Sesshoumaru is a yokai in Inuyasha, a popular anime that ran from 2000 - 2004. The final season aired separately in 2009-2010.

His father was a powerful dog demon. He can transform into a large, white dog himself, though he spends most of his time in a humanoid form.

He has a cold personality, and he claims to dislike humans. However, as time goes on, he seems to become more sympathetic to them.

He is followed around by a small green yokai named Jaken (who is definitely in love with him), a human child named Rin, and later by a friend of Rin.
